About the Position

Anglicare’s South Coast Community Aged & Disability team is a collaborative, flexible and productive group of people, working together to deliver a range of services throughout the Gold Coast region. As part of this essential service, we are looking for an experienced Dietician to join our team on a part time basis, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional client outcomes in our community. This is a fixed term contract for six months, working two days per week.  The Dietician will apply clinical experience, specialised knowledge and professional judgement to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of nutrition and dietetic services to the needs of the clients.

 

About You

An experienced Dietician with an interest in working in the Community, Aged, or Disability sectors, your knowledge and skills will include:

  • Management and implementation of dietetic programs
  • Provision of specialist advice and support to a range of elderly clients, and those living with a disability
  • Assessment and evaluation of diet and nutrition plans to ensure high quality client care
  • Demonstrated experience working within a multi-disciplinary team including effective relationships with a broad range of staff and management
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with both internal and external health professionals and providers

Your genuine passion and dedication to helping others will be coupled with:

  • Ability to work autonomously by planning and prioritising your own workload
  • Commitment to a collaborative and engaged team environment
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • A focus on quality care and support for continuous improvement

A degree in Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) or similar field is required, along with a current Blue Card (Working with Children) with Yellow Card exemption, Queensland Driver Licence and a National Police Certificate. You will need to be an Accredited Practicing Dietician.
