About the Position

Our Quality, Learning and Workforce Development team engages with our services to support the provision of safe, high quality, person centred-care.  Based in Woolloongabba, this group of specialists focus on developing and enabling staff and services to be relevant and responsive by identifying and implementing best-practice training, education and frameworks throughout the organisation. 

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Quality Improvement Consultant to join the QLWD team on a twelve month contract. The role will support our diverse services to promote a culture of continuous improvement and operate Anglicare SQ policies and procedures.  The Quality Improvement Consultant is also responsible for coordinating and supporting the organisaiton through external audit and review processes.

 

About You

Your Quality Improvement background and experiences will include:

  • Robust understanding of, and commitment to, continuous improvement
  • An ability to provide formal advice and support, including undertaking internal reviews, workshops, and providing written reports;
  • Provision of advice and support including face to face and phone/email
  • Demonstrated ability to assist managers to implement systems and processes to develop and sustain a culture of continuous improvement

Your exceptional communication skills and ability to relate to a broad range of people will be coupled with:

  • An ability to motivate and encourage others towards organisational goals
  • Interpersonal skills which enable you to impart information and knowledge in an effective manner
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to establish rapport with a wide range of people
  • Excellent evaluation, problem-solving and decision making skills, within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Capability to manage a varied workload and work effectively within a professional and close teamwork environment

Our successful candidate will offer the following qualifications and certifications:

  • An undergraduate qualification in Health or Human Services (or a related field); Postgraduate would be advantageous
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desired)
  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children) and Yellow Card (Disability Services)
  • Clean, open Queensland Drivers Licence
  • Current National Police Certificate
